Sealed Earth is the leading Greek gallery exclusively dedicated to contemporary ceramics, founded in Athens in 2020 by Loukia Thomopoulou. Nested near the Acropolis and additionally operating a nomadic satellite programming presence across the Greek periphery (especially the Cycladic islands), Sealed Earth has established itself as a dominant force in the national ceramics scene. The gallery bridges craftsmanship, fine art, and design, emphasizing experimentation and innovation through a program that features both emerging and established artists.
Committed to showcasing the richness and diversity of ceramic expression, Sealed Earth aims to position contemporary ceramics firmly within the broader international art market. Through exhibitions, residencies, and community engagement, the gallery supports a vibrant network of artists, collectors, and curators, fostering dialogue that connects tradition with experimentation, and the local scene with the global stage.

Rooted in the symbolic and visual language of the Medieval City in Rhodes Island, it reflects on the enduring nature of beauty and meaning, how motifs, like memories, are passed down, transformed, and reborn without fear of time.
