Sealed Earth is a Greek gallery exclusively dedicated to contemporary ceramics, founded in Athens in 2020 by Loukia Thomopoulou. Based near the Acropolis and active through an extended programme beyond its physical space, Sealed Earth has established itself as a pivotal platform for ceramic practices in Greece today. Bridging craftsmanship, fine art, and design, the gallery foregrounds experimentation and material innovation through presentations of both emerging and established artists.
With a commitment to the breadth of ceramic expression, Sealed Earth works to place contemporary ceramics in direct conversation with the wider international art market. Through exhibitions, residencies, and public engagement, the gallery nurtures a growing network of artists, collectors, and curators, connecting tradition with new vocabularies, and local contexts with global circulation.
