Classes for all levels inspired by modern art painters.

2 Groups – Wednesday or Thursday

We will create forms, sculptures and objects based on each art movement.

ART MOVEMENTS: Impressionism, Expressionism, Fauvism, Cubism, Dadaism, Surrealism, Bauhaus, Pop art.

ARTISTS: Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Georges Seurat, Paul Cezanne, Andre Derain, Henri Matisse, Henri de Toulouse, Diet Mondrian, Raoul Dufy, Maurice se Vlaminck, Pierre-Anguste Renoir, Wassily Kandinsky, Edouard Manet.

Each month we will refer and talk about one artist and research on their work. We start experimenting with a functional object, introducing all 3 ways of handbuilding techniques  (a mug, a bowl, a plate, a vase e.g.) adding a design and coloring. Then we will move to a three-dimensional elements, influenced  and inspired by the work of each artist.

Clay is not included in the price but is available for purchased on site.

All other materials, colors, studio glazes and firings up to 30lt/ month are included in the monthly price.
