A keynote presentation on the 2nd of December
The workshop is a keynote presentation that will explore the possibilities of 3D printing, looking at the strengths and weaknesses of extrusion ceramic 3D printing with clay, from generating digital files to preparing clay and printing. No previous experience with the technology is needed, but experienced participants will be able to follow the terminology of the technical aspects more easily.
Nikos Athanasopoulos (Niklas) is a product designer who deals with the 3D printing of ceramics. His works alternate between pure geometric and free organic volumes. The shapes of his ceramics are created either in computer code or in a digital virtual environment (Virtual Reality).
